Publication Info & Content: We are presenting a number of video clips from the “classic” television series Saved By The Bell-an NBC production created by Sam Bobrick that aired 90 episodes from 1989-1993. The show is a family appropriate comedy about six individual students and their four years at Bayside High School. Apparently, the creator’s original idea for the series was actually inspired by a strong desire to do a positive show about an "inspiring" school teacher, like a teacher he'd had as a boy. Our video clips will highlight the character Ms.Bliss and her interactions with her students. In later episodes, the show transitioned to having more focus placed on the students, but the teachers and particularly the principal were still involved. Poor Mr. Belding!
